Bo Normander, Director of Worldwatch Europe, Will Speak at GEF 2013

The Global Eco Forum is an international meeting on sustainability that is organized annually by the environmental association eco-union. The event brings together leading experts, organizations, companies and institutions to promote dialogue, reflection and interaction among different stakeholders in our societies. Due to its global nature, it is an essential meeting point for opinion leaders and agents of change towards sustainability in the Euro-Mediterranean Region.

This sixth edition of the Global Eco Forum will take place in Barcelona (La Pedrera) on 22 October 2013 with a special focus on the so-called green economy and on the related critical topics of green job creation and water/natural resources management. Speakers include experts from various European institutions, NGOs, media and businesses. Draft programme can be found here.

Our Director, Bo Normander, will be a key-note speaker at this year's Global Eco Forum, presenting Worldwatch Europe's latest findings on sustainable business and how to build a living and green economy. He will also share his personal vision and experience in the plenary sessions.

Participation in the GEF 2013 is subject to a registration fee, which gives access to plenary sessions, workshops and the cultural exhibition, and includes simultaneous translation service and catering. Register here and get a 15% discount if you register before 30 September!
