Elena Bulmer joined Worldwatch Europe in 2012 and is presently the Biodiversity project coordinator.

Elena decided to become a biologist back in high school after having witnessed the rampant illegal logging activities in Sarawak, Malaysia. Since then her real passion has become biodiversity conservation and the preservation of tropical rainforests, and trying to do everything possible to ensure their protection and conservation.

She is a PhD Biologist, certified in both Prince2 and Project Management Professional (PMP), with considerable experience in the conception and management of conservation and biodiversity projects at senior and international levels, having worked with universities and NGOs both in Europe and in South America. The last few years Elena has been dedicated to working with endangered fauna and flora conservation projects in and from all over the world.
