Duration: 3-6 months, 25–37 hours a week (full-time intern position with flexible hours)

Position Summary: The Research and Fundraising Internship is a great opportunity to acquire fundraising experience working for an international environmental non-profit organisation. The intern will work closely with the Fundraising team and one or more of the Research teams to support Worldwatch Europe's efforts to develop and fund new research activities.

- Draft and edit project proposals
- Research new foundations to apply for funding
- Conduct external research and networking on one (or more) of our key research priorities to use in writing proposals
- Support general fundraising activities, such as events, donations and crowdfunding
- Writing research articles for blogs and the monthly newsletter

Worldwatch Europe is primarily funded by foundations, individual donations, consultancy services, and from sales of books. Your task will be to strengthen our cooperation with potential funders and to develop and coordinate fundraising activities for new research projects.

- Academic education in the field of environmental science, sustainability, social science or business administration
- Documented fundraising experience
- Experience drafting research articles
- Excellent writing and communication skills in English and preferably Danish and/or another European language
- Interest and knowledge of the environment and sustainability
- A curiosity about how the environment relates to social, political, and economic realities and a capacity to see connections across fields and specialties
- Attention to detail and an ability to carefully and accurately document authoritative sources for all information gathered
- Experience with crowdfunding is a plus
- Good personal communication skills, ability to represent the organization in official meetings and events
- Experience in public speaking / public presentations will be an advantage
- Outgoing and vibrant personality, and the desire to work in a diverse, international environment
