Launching of the Catalan version of the Worldwatch Institute Report: L'estat del món 2011: innovacions que alimenten el planeta

The 2011 SOW report published by the Worldwatch Institute spotlights successful agricultural innovations and unearths major successes in preventing food waste, building resilience to climate change, and strengthening farming in cities. The report provides a roadmap for increased agricultural investment and more-efficient ways to alleviate global hunger and poverty. Once again, the UNESCO Centre of Catalonia has promoted the Catalan version of this report, and the Advisory Council for Sustainable Development (CADS) has contributed to the publication with an article about food, health and food sovereignty policies, that provides a Catalan view of innovations that nourish the planet.
