“Planet Earth, The Other Possible World”- Congress In Grosseto, Italy

Worldwatch Europe's Director Bo Normander will present the State of the World 2014 at the Congress “Planet Earth, the other possible world” in Grosseto, Italy.

The congress brings together researchers and thinkers from all over the world, who dedicate their research for the transition towards a sustainable society. Current solutions, projects and technologies for a planet change will be presented and debated.

According to the organisers, there will be a selection of speakers ranging from a variety of backgrounds, including:

The Sustainability International Forum (SIF) is a favorite spot for dialogue and exchange between companies, institutions, academia, associations, and students. It offers a place for people to reflect on the challenges and trends with regards to global sustainable development, to analyze the way the green and blue economies are influencing and guiding the evolution of economic growth on a human scale, and the opportunities of such transitions.

Italian launch of State of the World 2013

The momentum around Worldwatch's key publication State of the World 2013: Is Sustainability Still Possible? continues to grow. Under the scientific coordination of Gianfranco Bologna the report was compiled and translated into Italian by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) to keep seeking to restore the meaning of the term "sustainability" in various languages.
