29 May 2012: State of the World 2012 Launch in Italy

On the 29th May, the Worldwatch Institute will join Edizioni Ambiente in launching State of the World 2012: Moving Toward Sustainable Prosperity. The event, which begins at 9:30 am at the Museo della Scienza e della Tecnica Leonardo da Vinci will feature:

24 April 2012: Oil Springs Gaming Event in Copenhagen

Worldwatch's Erik Assadourian has helped develop ‘Catan: Oil Springs’, an eco-educational scenario for the award-winning board game that integrates a new resource into the mix – oil. It brings with it the opportunity for players to develop significantly faster, but not without risking industrial pollution and disasters such as coastal flooding triggered by climate change.
